CGH upgrades radiology facilities

By Anthony Ching

Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), one of the country’s oldest and largest hospitals, recently unveiled its newly-refurbished and fully-digitalized Radiology Department complete with cutting edge medical equipment and software thru its collaboration with Samsung Electronics and its Philippine partner, Bullseye Solutions Inc. (BSI).

The ribbon-cutting was done last March 31, 2017 and was graced by Sen. Richard Gordon who also chairs the Philippine Red Cross alongside officials of CGHMC, led by its president, philanthropist, Dr. James Dy, as well as representatives from both Samsung Electronics and Bullseye Solutions.
The modern Radiology Department of CGHMC boasts of having the Philippines’ first Samsung GC80 Ceiling-Mounted DR, one of the tech giant’s flagship products in radiology, as well as a number of Samsung Mobile DRs, Samsung Ultrasound equipment and B2B products such as Samsung air-conditioning and display systems.
The new equipment and workflow enables CGHMC’s Radiology Department to be fully digital, allowing faster patient diagnosis and turnaround times, better file archiving and ultimately higher quality patient care.
Bullseye Solutions Inc., which led the CGHMC implementation and the new design of the “patient-centered” Radiology Department, is a provider of healthcare turnkey solutions, offering hospitals and healthcare facilities in the country an “all-inclusive package” that comprises solutions and workflow planning ,equipment, IT, consumables, and even facility design and construction.
BSI is a leading partner in delivering integrated care in the Philippines by using the latest in healthcare technology — putting patient care at the center — ensuring not only fast quality service but also prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.
