PLDT cited for fast reply to complaint

Clients of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) have lauded the utility firm for its fast, efficient service in rehabilitating non-working DSL connections around Makati area.
One of the clients along Chino Roces St. said one of their staff only complained about the non-working DSL line on Feb. 19 but the repair team from Accesslink immediately arrived at the office to do its job.
“Even their support staff are supportive, they call almost every hour to assure that the rehab is ongoing uninterrupted,” Leanne Quinan, accounting head of a LED supplier that experience the efficient service of the PLDT affiliate, told the Daily Tribune.
It was found out that the problem at the office’s DSL connection is internal because of the house wiring that is not consummate to the line where the Internet link runs.
Lorraine See, manager of SME, another PLDT affiliate that serves small enterprises, assured that in case another DSL interruption occurs, they can directly call and text her.
The straight reporting can be done after reporting it to 117.
The service people at 117 will give number ID to the complainant which shall be relayed to See. The hotline is operating 24/7, the manager said.
She even gave initial diagnosis about the interruption to the firms. “There will always be a possibility of intermittent connection due to status of the outside plant facility, including in-house wiring in the building.
We would strongly suggest for your office to migrate to fiberbiz for a better Internet experience,” See said in her official report.
PLDT chairman Manny Pangilinan is humbled about the positive feedback his team has been getting.
“(I have) alerted PLDT. We should put gigafast on your DSL,” the chairman, who is also known for allocating tens of millions of pesos to various CSR programs, said.
