Scholars from 8 Asean countries train for CNG dev’t

The call for Asean countries to venture into alternative energy source encouraged the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) of Japan to organize and subsidize a one-week training program on compressed natural gas (CNG). The program, “Natural Gas Facility Operation – Maintenance and Vehicle Conversion,” was attended by scholar/participants from eight countries of the Asean (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao-PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) and held in cooperation with MFI Technological Institute which also served as venue of the training.
