Scholars from 8 Asean countries train for CNG dev’t
10/22/2006 The call for Asean countries to venture into alternative energy source encouraged the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) of Japan to organize and subsidize a one-week training program on compressed natural gas (CNG). The program, “Natural Gas Facility Operation – Maintenance and Vehicle Conversion,” was attended by scholar/participants from eight countries of the Asean (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao-PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) and held in cooperation with MFI Technological Institute which also served as venue of the training.
