Asiana Airlines ups flights to Pusan

Pusan City, South Korea’s second largest city, will now have daily connections with Manila via Asiana Airlines (OZ). The multi-awarded airline has announced that from four weekly it now has daily flights from Manila to Pusan. Flights depart at 4 a.m. and arrive in Pusan at 8:30 a.m.

Pusan is renowned for its beaches, a wide variety of seafood restaurants and food specialties including raw fish. The city hosts Korea’s largest seafood festival every October called the Jagalchi Festival. Other attractions are the Busan Aquarium, Dalamji Hill with its woods of cherry blossoms and pine trees, Beomeosa Temple, the World Cup Amnam Park and national parks.

Shopping highlights are the Choryang Arcade for tourists, Lotte Department Store, Gukje Market, Nampo-dong Street and many other stores and shops with quality goods at discounts prices. Busan is also well known for Korean folkcraft items.
