Ascend Asia invests $18M in RP call centers

04/22/2007

Ascend Asia Worldwide Marketing Solutions Inc., a leading B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) marketing service provider and a licensed telecommunications company in the United States, is out to prove that investing in the Filipinos — their talent, hardwork and intelligence — will not only boost their economic status but will also entail maintained operations.

“We are in the IT business and we have our own projects and campaigns. We take the big leap in launching three great IT projects that are going to soar soon and will hit the US market very well,” Jeanette Honrales, CEO of Ascend Asia, said.

She added, “Programmers in the Philippines, as well as the whole manpower, are very reliable. In return, once we found those people we call as company’s asset and worth retaining, we make them regular right away thru our 90-day Regularization Program. It’s one way of helping the Filipino people to reach their goal and aim to what they want to be.”

According to Jester Condez, operations manager, the most ambitious projects that Honrales is talking about will focus on the Answering Service Campaigns: These are the InContact – the latest offering in the Call Center outsourcing services for campaigns of all sizes and across various industries such as Internet, retailers, catalogers, direct response and financial services among others. Another is the Freeifax – free Internet fax service – the first in marketing service to offer in the US market.

Their high-technology facilities are also a promise. Calls are monitored for quality assurance through voice loggers. They also used VOIP (voiceover Internet protocol), the latest technology for calling facilities that provide connections to the US and other parts of the globe.

Ascend Asia’s head office is in San Francisco, US, and maintains international offices in New York and Hong Kong.

Philippine headquarter is located at 18/Flr., Robinsons Summit Bldg., 6783 Ayala Ave., Makati.

To reach the target of 2,000 employees, Ascend Asia joins a Job Fair at the Robinson’s Galleria Mall (fountain area) on April 23 and 24. For details, contact Rudolf Espinosa at 856-3300.
