Wow Greenhills for tourists

01/20/2008

Tourists and foreign guests visit the Philippines not only because of its world-class resorts and beaches, natural attractions and historical landmarks, but also because of world-class products like furniture and handicraft.

Philippine furniture maintains its position as a favorite in large export markets, including the United States, Japan, France, The Netherlands, Great Britain and North Ireland.

Tourists and foreign visitors looking for Philippine-made furniture and other world-class products must visit the 15th Fiesta Fair Manila which is ongoing until Feb. 4 at the Greenhills Shopping Complex.

The trade fair is organized by the Prime Asia Trade Planners and Convention Organizers (Patepco), headed by Henry Babiera, the dean of trade fair organizers in the country and considered the tiangge king.

To be showcased are lights and fixtures, antique and modern furniture and furnishings, Oriental furniture and furnishing, antique furniture and furnishing, precious and semi-precious jewelry, loose gemstones and pearls, ready-to-wear (RTW) garments, regional sweets and delicacies, leather goods, porcelain, jars and potteries, sporting goods and accessories, arts and crafts, collectibles, novelties and giveaways.

Manufacturers, exporters/importers, dealers, suppliers, distributors and other traders can join other forthcoming exhibits.

Interested parties can contact Patepco at Blue Men’s Quarter Bldg., 707 Urduja St., Barangay Village, Sucat Road, Parañaque City, Ariel Villanueva, overall project coordinator, and project coordinators Ai-Ai Babiera, Albert Castro, Celina Umali, Agot Artista, Eugene Paguio, Aileen Tulagan, Alma Miraflor and Renz Solon, tel. 826-8162/820-3862.
