MFI sets scholarship deadline

The deadline for acceptance of applicants for the three-year scholarship program of MFI Technological Institute (formerly Meralco Foundation Institute) is March 31.

MFI needs 150 students for the first year with the following qualifications: must be Filipino citizen, high school graduate, between 16 years old and above, and must pass the competitive screening process.

The program is classified into partial and full scholarship. Slots are also available for full paying students who are interested to avail of the hands-on intensive training that MFI Technological Institute provides. Courses are offered in the fields of electronics, electrical, instrumentation, tool and die and information technology.

The requirements for applicants are: photocopy of high school card, a copy of parent’s income tax or exemption from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, two 2” x 2” ID pictures and two recommendation letters affixed with school dry seal; one from the principal and one from the guidance counselor.
