04/06/2008

In the recently concluded Anvil Awards, Metrobank Card Corp., in partnership with Metrobank Foundation, is pleased to receive the award from Anvil for its program, The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS).

Dubbed as the Oscars of Public Relations in the Philippines, the Anvil Award is given annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) to outstanding public relations programs and tools that reflect and promote public interest, good values and genuine service to the community and society.

TOWNS received the Anvil Award of Excellence for recognizing outstanding Filipino women who have contributed significantly to nation-building by excelling in their chosen field or industry and raising public awareness on the important role of women in society. This is why Metrobank Femme Visa supports TOWNS as they recognize women empowerment. Metrobank Femme Visa is the credit card specifically designed to allow women to use their power to decide, be, and obtain what they want. It paves way to further uplift the Filipino woman with features that will help her credit needs as well as dealing with various roles in trying to make a difference in the world.
