Angel-Piolo pair makes waves as endorsers
04/20/2008 There’s no doubt that the tandem of Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin is making waves not only in television series Lobo, but also when it comes to product endorsements. Their popularity benefited San Mig Coffee when they did a commercial for its Sugar Free variant in 2006 and helped it become the No.1 sugar free coffeemix, according to a recent survey by the Nielsen Company. This time, they were paired anew in a “situmercial” for San Mig Coffee that was filmed recently. The said “situmercial” was patterned after the Lobo television series and directed by FM Reyes. The two were very flattered about helping make San Mig Coffee a household name. With numerous tapings, commercial and pictorials everyday, Piolo and Angel say San Mig Coffee helps them stay awake and alert. At the time they did the first commercial in 2006, the two already became instant fans of the brand as Piolo prefers the extra strong variant while Angel is partial to the mild blend.
