Load up on new dishes at Texas Roadhouse Grill

04/27/2008

Summer is grilling season at Texas Roadhouse Grill, as it focuses the spotlight on “Cowboy Ribs and Steaks,” its new selection of lip-smacking grilled grubs.

Load up on their Beef Ribs, cooked to order the Texas Roadhouse way. Delight in the fall-off-the-bone tenderness of succulent U.S. beef ribs, double basted with BBQ sauce for that delicious flavor. This comes with fries and sweet corn on the cob.

Don’t miss Texas Roadhouse’s brawniest steak—the Porterhouse, generally said to be one of Mark Twain’s favorite dishes. This 10-ounce, bone-in U.S. marbled steak is seasoned with herbs and garlic and is served with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.

Along with its top of the line beef, chicken, seafood, pasta dishes and steak selection, check out their Saloon Specialties, their take on Cowboy bar drinks . Perfect for summer is their own version of the Mojito, a Cuban cocktail made with the right mixture of rum, fresh mint, lime juice, and soda water. When combined, this makes an incredibly delicious drink, known to be the cocktail of choice of writer Ernest Heming-way, pirates and swashbucklers. Now, of urban cowboys too.

Another new offering is the restaurant’s sinfully delicious take on the Banoffee Pie, sliced bananas, cream & toffee on a buttery biscuit crust topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce, a sweet ending to a memorable meal.

Texas Roadhouse Grill offers these new fare at both their branches at Bonifacio High Street ((Tel. No. 856-1547) and in El Pueblo, Ortigas (Tel. No. (635-6715)

Over at Texas Roadhouse Bonifacio High Street which is celebrating its 1st year anniversary, enjoy any appetizer for ONLY P1 with a minimum purchase of P500. This special treat is offered from April 1, 2008 to April, 30, 2008 at the Bonifacio High Street branch only.
