SCG selects scholars from Batangas HS

It’s a brand new school year for these 10 scholars from Sta. Clara National High School in Batangas thanks to Thai conglomerate SCG’s “Sharing The Dream” program. Representing SCG are Radmar Gonzaga (2nd row, left), Jobeth Fernandez (3rd row, left) and UPPC CSR head Wilma Aguila (3rd row, 2nd from right). The initiative is in partnership with corporate-led NGO Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).

The SCG is an Asean leading conglomerate with five core businesses focusing on chemicals, paper, cement, building materials, and distribution, generating $8 billion in net sales. It operates four business in the Philippines, including United Pulp and Paper Co. Inc., Mariwasa Siam Ceramics, CPAC Monier Philippines Inc., SCT (Philippines) Inc. and SCG Chemicals.
