Photo courses for beginners and professionals at Fort Santiago

Photography enthusiasts can learn the better way while professional photographers can be more competitive in their chosen profession by learning photography through the FPPF way.
The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF), nucleus of photography in the country, is offering basic photo course for beginners and special courses for professionals at the historic Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila.
Taking basic photo course is not only students and out-of-school youth but also professionals like doctors, bankers, dentists, engineers, teachers, journalists, architects, accountants, nurses, designers, artists, as well as showbiz personalities, adventurers, priests and nuns, also generals and justices and government officials.
With trained photo staff, companies enjoy better presentations and find their communication better understand because of values. Better pictures are also indispensable to effective social networking.
Eduviges Y. Huang, chairperson of the FPPF, said for beginners there is a lesson plan that will enable them to acquire basic skills to operate a camera and take good photos in five days or 40 hours.
She said there is an even shorter time to teach corporate employees how to operate the camera and come up with nicely composed pictures.
The modules are now packaged for corporations as they now realize the value of good photography in communication.
Participants can choose whether on weekdays or weekends.
The 5-day weekday starts on Febraury. 26. The 5-Saturday basic photography seminar will start on February 17 and another to start on March 19.
The next advanced photography course will be on Feb. 17-18 and 24-25 and another on March 17-18 and 24-25.
FPPF also offers Wedding Photography on March 10-11, two-Sunday seminar on Basic Videography on Feb. 18 and 25 and another on April 29 & May 6, while Strobist Photography is on April 14.
