Airphil Express passengers can now experience the convenience of paying for their domestic tickets 24/7 in 7-Eleven retail outlets nationwide.
With ECPay’s Payment Center facility in over 766 7-Eleven stores, passengers who book online do not need to line up at Airphil Express to pay for their domestic tickets. Instead, they may simply go the nearest 7-Eleven outlet in their neighborhood. ECPay outlets will only accept payments for flight bookings done online and will not accept payments for bookings done through the Airphil Express reservation hotline.
The new scheme is also designed for those with no credit cards who want to do their bookings online in the convenience of their homes, offices, internet cafes or mobile phones. This latest passenger service innovation involves a few “easy” steps:
First, a passenger books a flight through the Airphil Express website. The flight must be at least 48 hours from the time of booking.
Passenger then selects “others” in the payment option and once booking is confirmed, system will generate a reference number with total amount due, to be presented to 7-Eleven for payment. Passenger must pay for his ticket at the nearest 7-Eleven outlet until 11:45pm the same day booking was made. E-ticket will be automatically sent to the passenger’s e-mail address.
In case of inquiries, passengers may call the ECPay Customer Support hotline at (02) 421-6032 to 35 or email customerservice@ecpay.com.ph.
In addition to Airphil Express ticket kiosks in selected Petron gas stations in Metro Manila and all branches of M Lhuillier, the 7-Eleven tie-up expands the list of Airphil Express payment centers. It offers a hassle-free alternative to ticket offices and travel agencies as avenues for ticket purchases.
