Not to be outdone by its neighboring countries, the Philippines is making a serious shift toward a greener transformation and lifestyle, further realizing the drastic effects of climate change, green gas emissions, typhoons, calamities and other grave environmental concerns and answering the call for a lifestyle change. The need to go green by focusing on developing a realistic and attainable and sustainable green lifestyle.
This coming August 16-18, the various industries such as construction, energy, lifestyle, manufacturing and technology unite and are set to go green at Green Philippines 2012-2nd Philippine International Total Green Movement Exhibition and Conference happening at the SMX Convention Center. The show will incorporate Green Construct (Sustainable Building and Construction), Green Energy (Renewable Energy), Green Living & Lifestyle (Eco-Friendly Consumer Products) and Green Manufacturing (Sustainable Technologies and Processes).
“This trade show showcases how our country responds to the need of green building for a better and greener tomorrow, through shifting to greener solutions and joining the greenvolution. Various environment-friendly technologies in the market are set to alleviate the standards of our industry, transforming them to be better. This is what Green Philippines is all about,” said Patrick-Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP.
Organized by the country’s largest exhibition and trade show organizer, Global-Link MP Events International Inc., Green Philippines 2012 is molded to be the greenest event in the region, bringing to Filipino people the newest and greenest products, innovations and technologies in the market. This year, Green Philippines will also host three major events Enviro-tech Philippines (Environmental Management Technology) Water-tech Manila (Water, Plumbing, and Sanitation Technology) and the Philippine Solar Summit (Solar Rooftop Technology).
Three world-class conferences will be held coinciding Green Philippines namely: the 3rd Sustainable Building Technology Conference – a forum for industry professionals to gain additional knowledge and product application The Water-Tech Conference is a gathering of master plumbers and sanitation experts to talk about the industry’s development toward sustainability and lastly, the Philippine Solar Summit will bring together solar energy professionals from all over the region to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences for the continuing growth of these sectors.
In the construction industry, various companies are already adapting to “greening” their upcoming projects to further fast track the aim of developing sustainable communities. Many of these products for the industry will be showcased at Green Construct. The renewable energy sector, on the other hand, has its place at Green Energy, whereas companies and products that promote renewable energy will only be here, giving the latest in the energy sector. Moreover, providing all the technologies on sustainable manufacturing and environmental management, and related products will be featured at Green Manufacturing and Enviro-Tech.
Lastly, catering to the needs of the consumers to a healthier lifestyle, green Living & Lifestyle gives the people what they need in order to meet the standards of better living. Green Living & Lifestyle focuses on products for health and wellness, from organic to healthcare products. Environmental initiative groups may also be seen here, to educate people more of what more is there for green living.
