Leading technology and services company Robert Bosch, Inc. introduced  21 new Bosch Power Tools, 10 new models of Skil Power Tools and Accessories and 10 new models of Measuring Tools and Coated Abrasives (Sia) to architects, industry professionals and consumers at major construction exhibits held in Manila and Cebu. Bosch showcased the power and performance of its products through extensive product displays, demonstrations and consultations.
Bosch shared professional tips, tricks and construction solutions to more than 10,000 visitors at the five-day Worldbex Exhibit in Pasay City. About 2,500 architects and 1,500 allied professionals, including engineers, suppliers, manufacturers and planners, explored the Bosch exhibits at the 38th UAP National Convention and Conex 2012.
Following the launches in Manila, Bosch also participated in CEBUCON 2012 held at the SM Cebu Trade Hall.  Bosch showcased the Skil Combo Kit and 2kg hammers to celebrate the 88th anniversary of Skil, and the 80th anniversary of the Bosch Hammer.
As a testament to its expertise and leadership in the local and global power tools industry, Bosch hosted a 3-day Skil Power Tools Conference this July at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Cebu City. First launched in 2010, the annual conference provides top Bosch executives an opportunity to share mid-year updates on Skil’s business developments, as well as dealer incentives and promotional sell-out support, to esteemed dealers and partners. This year, 25 official partners attended the conference.
The Bosch Power Tools Dealer Conference was attended by 60 of the most esteemed dealers in the country. Top Bosch executives did not only give a positive business review of the first half of 2012, but they also recognized their 25 Diamond Club awardees with a special ceremony. Winners in special categories such as Best in Hammer, Best in Cordless, Best in Benchtop, Best in Measuring Tools, Best in Accessories, Best in Skil, Best Event, Aquatak Champion and Highest Growth Award, were also recognized during the ceremony
On the last day of the conference, Bosch hosted a workshop and team building seminar for its business partners and dealers, in an effort to improve its services. Piloted by Dulce Isip, moderator of Bosch’s Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), and team leaders Roy Tabada, Garry Dumas and RD Oquendo, the workshop served as an avenue through which participants shared ideas for new products, events and business models.
“The last 8 years have seen our Power Tools division strengthening their market presence in the Philippines,” said William Go, country sales director, Power Tools division, Robert Bosch Philippines. “In 2011, the Power Tools division posted a strong growth of 41percent. Our goal is to sustain the pace of growth and even exceed what we achieved last year.”
Bosch will be participating in the Bacolod Construction Show on October 22-28, Philippine Construction Show on November 7-10 at the SMX Mall of Asia in Pasay City and Davao Construction Show on November 29 to December 2 at the SMX in Davao City.
