Calata Corp. provides relief to 1,000 Bataan residents

After weeks of relentless rains and flooding, agricultural industry leader Calata Corp. provided relief to flood-stricken residents of Bataan.  Using seven boats, Calata Corp. employees coordinated with barangay captain Emeterio Fania and councilor Edna Magtoto in distributing relief goods consisting of canned food, noodles, rice, and other emergency items to as many as 1,000 residents of Almacen Hermosa Bataan in the sitios of Centro 1, Centro 2, Ibayo 2, Macera and Balas.   Moreover, Calata Corp. staff created make-shift distribution centers for residents located in elevated areas.  Calata is the country’s biggest combined distributor of agro-chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, feeds and veterinary medicines from manufacturers and business partners like San Miguel Corp., DuPont, Sinochem and Viking, among others.
