Soccer Mania was held at select SM Supermalls, where children ages 5 to 13 years old were invited to participate in the free soccer lessons conducted by The Futkaleros. In each clinic, the kids learned the foundations of football by going through different exercises and drills prepared by the instructors. Soccer Mania 2012 was in cooperation with Enervon Syrup, multivitamins for Kids.

The first leg of Soccer Mania kicked off in Fairview on April 20 to 21, followed by Las Pinas, Manila, Masinag and Lipa. The event series was then concluded in Pampanga. Hundreds of kids lined up to join and participate in the games, such as the Enervon Playoffs, which was an added feature in this year’s Soccer Mania, where kids enjoyed performing the neat tricks they learned from their free soccer sessions. And at to that, the kids were even treated to a freestyle football showdown between international freestyler Phillip Warren Gertsson and Futkalero Dennis Balbin. Kids and mallgoers flocked to the event’s giant inflatable football field to watch and be amazed by the far out tricks that were shown.
