Culinary greatness awaits at CCA, Manila

Start your child’s career on the right path by leading them to an education at the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA), Manila, the Philippines’ first and foremost institution for culinary education. The success of individuals in the food and restaurant industry here and abroad is further proof that it is now possible to pursue a lucrative career in the culinary field.
This year, students can now enroll at the newly-launched four-year BS in Culinary Management (BSCM), considered one of the country’s first CHEd-accredited courses related to culinary education. It is a program designed to provide students with a strong foundation of becoming a disciplined culinary professional, preparing them to become highly skilled managers of a commercial kitchen in hotels and restaurants.
“We have created the BS Culinary Program in order to contribute to the food and beverage (F&B) industry, in tune with the needs of the times,” CCA Managing Director Dr. Ma. Veritas Luna said. “There are about 200 programs in the culinary arts, but there are very few that train them for supervisorial and management level. Being a pioneering school in the culinary arts, other schools look up to CCA as their template.”
CCA, Manila’s flagship course, the two-year diploma program in Culinary Arts & Technology Management, meanwhile, provides students with a strong foundation to become disciplined culinary professionals.  Practical kitchen training is complemented with a comprehensive foodservice management training program which aims to develop entrepreneurial and management competencies in planning, operation and supervision of an institutional or commercial kitchen. Upon graduation from the two-year diploma program in Culinary Arts & Technology Management, graduates can already opt to enter the world of the food service industry or continue to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from CCA, Manila or its partner institutions in Asia, Europe or the United States through our International Degree Succession program.
Enrollment for this diploma course opens four times a year: June, August, October, and January. CCA, Manila’s newest offering is the 9-month Baking & Pastry Arts Diploma course at the CCA Podium Satellite School.
CCA, Manila is at 287 Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City with a satellite campus at the 4/F The Podium, San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City.
