GMA News’ ‘Think Before You Click’

GMA News’ “Think Before You Click” campaign brought home the Safe Surfer Award in the recently-concluded 2012 Globe Tatt Awards at the NBC tent in Taguig City.  In a quest to make cyberspace a safer place for netizens, GMA News launched the “Think Before You Click” campaign in 2011. Through the campaign, viewers were encouraged to become more responsible when participating in social media — reminding them of how important it is to always think and consider the consequences of their actions before they hit that post, tweet or enter button.
GMA News is the first mainstream media organization in the Philippines to take a stand against cyber harassment and bullying.

TV5 brings in the laughs
TV5 promises to fill Sundays with fun and laughter with its new comedy block. Aptly named “Ha-ha-happy Sunday,” the program line-up promises to reinvent how Filipinos enjoy time at home with the family.  Catch Loko Moko at 11:30 a.m., Game ‘N Go at 12 noon and Kapitan Awesome at 2:30 p.m.

I-Witness kicks off Docufest Regional Tour
In celebration of its 13th year, GMA-7’s flagship documentary program I-Witness: The GMA Documentaries returns to the big screen! Catch GMA’s finest documentaries in a series of documentary festivals in key cities all around Visayas and Mindanao — a first in the regions. This special event proudly kicks off in Queen City of the South — Cebu City  — on July 8 in SM Cinema Cebu. Award-winning documentaries hosted by multi-awarded journalists Howie Severino, Kara David, Jay Taruc and Sandra Aguinaldo will be screened during this one-day special event.
The I-Witness Docufest regional tour will also be held in these areas: Iloilo, Davao, Naga, Iligan, Dagupan and Bacolod. Admission is free.

Tribute to Jaworski on AKTV
Robert Jaworski, one of the PBA’s legendary basketball players, will cap a stellar professional career in a grand celebration aptly named “Tribute to Jaworski, Jersey Retirement Ceremony” on July 8, Sunday. The ceremony will be aired live on AKTV on IBC13 after the first game of the PBA semifinals.
That Lahing Ginebra still lives on with the current Barangay Ginebra team led by Mark Caguioa. Catch the Jaworski Jersey Retirement Ceremony only on AKTV on IBC13.
