A taste of Bicol at Kabisera ng Dencio's
Kabisera ng Dencio's, a restaurant where you can have the best of Filipino cuisine, has prepared dishes from the Bicol region that will stoke the fire in your tongues and fulfill your spicy cravings. A Taste of Bicol introduces three new dishes flavored with the freshest seafood, meat and vegetables, and of course, lots of chili and creamy coconut sauce.
The inulukan is Kabisera's special take on laing, the dish of gabi leaves and coconut milk stew-simmered to perfection and made more mouth-watering with crab and buco strips. Abé opens at Alabang Town Center  
Food lovers in the south now have reason to rejoice with the recent opening of Abé at the Alabang Town Center. Instead of traveling into the heart of Metro Manila for their fix of lamb adobo, Knockout Knuckles and Abé's Chicken Supreme, they can indulge in their favorite Filipino and Pampangan dishes in a location much closer to their homes. Abé opened its Alabang Town Center branch this year to much acclaim. Within days of its soft-opening, it was already experiencing capacity crowds. Its recent formal opening was graced by food lovers, including Muntinlupa City Mayor Aldrin San Pedro who cut the ribbon together with top LJC officials, LJC president Lorna Cruz-Ambas, LJC COO Eugene Billones and LJC VP and treasurer Merle de la Peña, and Javier Hernandez, AVP of Ayala Land Inc. The opening also featured the music of the Celso Espejo Rondalla, one the country's world-class string ensembles.
 Abé is the restaurant crafted by LJC Restaurant Group founder, the late Larry J Cruz, dedicated to the memory of his father E. Aguilar Cruz, a well-known writer, gourmet and bon vivant. The restaurant serves traditional Filipino food, mostly of Pampangan origin, and dishes inspired by Abé's travels around the world. Abe at Alabang Town Center boasts three function rooms for private parties and group meetings. It also has a second-floor portico dining area. Abé also has branches at Serendra, Trinoma Mall and SM Mall of Asia. Abé at Alabang Town Center is at the Lifestyle Strip, Corte de las Palmas Expansion. Savor Korea's best-tasting bulgogi at Sariwon
The newly-opened Sariwon Korean Barbecue restaurant at Bonifacio High Street Central is the first-ever Sariwon franchise in the Philippines — or outside of South Korea, for that matter. There are only a few Sariwon branches in the city of Seoul, mainly to protect the secret recipes that have been handed down through three family generations for over 70 years.
The star of Sariwon's menu is the Sariwon bulgogi — Korea's well-loved beef barbecue dish made more special through a recipe concocted by Bum-Im Koo in a small village in Sariwon, North Korea. While the conventional bulgogi sauce calls for sugar, Koo had to omit it from her recipe because of her husband's diabetes. She used a mixture of fresh fruits instead. She soon started her own restaurant in 1938 at her hometown, serving friends and neighbors. After the Korean War drove her and her family to South Korea, she took her recipes with her and opened another restaurant again — a small five-table place. But it didn't take too long for word to spread about Mrs. Koo's bulgogi and the restaurant grew from one branch to four branches. The main branch of Sariwon in Seoul now occupies 500 square meters with 350 seats.
