BUZZBLAST! Claudine Barretto taped for TV5's Untold Stories last Saturday with Jay Manalo as lead actor. Now managed by Vic del Rosario, Claudine is out of GMA 7, her contract with the Kapuso Network having expired. Untold Stories is fast becoming the showcase of topnotch actors judging from the appearance of Maricel Soriano with William Martinez!

At the media launch of his second album Hanggang Ngayon, Bryan Termulo was heard frequently name-dropping Angeline Quinto even if she has nothing to do with the album except perhaps inspire him. It turns out Bryan has a special fondness for the ABS-CBN songbird. He had to put aside their "special relationship," as he puts it, so it won't affect the promotion of her full-length starrer with Coco Martin. It looks like he has plans to resume it again and badly hoping it will proceed smoothly this time around.
In 2010, Bryan competed for the World Championships of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) and won two silver medals in rock and original works, and one bronze in R&B. He won the 2011 Awit Awards' Best Album Packaging.
Bryan is now known as the Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs, aside from being a regular mainstay of ASAP 2012 and a part of Boys Are Boys with JM de Guzman, Marki Stroem and Alex Castro. He has been busy with TV appearances and magazine interviews, as well as album tours and promotions.
A runner-up of Pinoy Pop Superstar 3, Bryan appeared in the drama series All My Life, before transferring to Kapamilya Network where he initially did two episodes for Wansapanatym. He also displayed great promise in Budoy as Ryan, friend and schoolmate of BJ (Enrique Gil). He is set to join Judy Ann Santos in the drama series Against All Odds.
Walang Hanggan's eight-track album the title track which has music video featuring Binibining Pilipinas 2012 finalist MJ Lastimosa, "Dadalhin" and "Pagdating ng Panahon."
Hanggang Ngayon might as well be Bryan's way of expressing this true love for Angeline. It is an unchanging feeling toward the songbird. Released by BWB Records and Music Productions, Hanggang Ngayon was launched in ASAP 2012 on Sunday.

The Itchyworms opens for Nelly Furtado
The Itchyworms will open for international R&B artist Nelly Furtado and rap/rock band Gym Class Heroes in their highly anticipated Manila concert at Araneta Coliseum on Aug. 16. A show at 19 East in Muntinlupa right after follows.
This is the highlight of the pop/rock band's third quarter starting off with a series of special musical events beginning Aug. 15 at 70s Bistro in Quezon City. Jugs, Kelvin, Jazz and Chino will sing their greatest hits from their catalog of multi-platinum full-length studio albums.
The band will also power the party of Talk 'N Text at the 2012 Kadayawan Festival at People's Park, Davao City on Aug. 17 and they will be featured at B-Side in Makati City on Aug. 18 at the victory party of Marie Jamora's official entry to the 2012 Cinemalaya Film Festival Ang Nawawala which also featured Kelvin in a special supporting role.

IN/SIGHT: Vin Abrenica off to an early lead
Photo shows Vin Abrenica with other Artista Academy students processing relief goods they donated and distributed to Cainta flood victims. Vin tied with Mark Neumann as top male student in the ramp modeling and music video tests, but he is off to an early lead of according to the scores by live exam critics Lorna Tolentino and Gelli de Belen, grades from the Asian Academy of Television Arts, and text votes. Julia Quisumbing as top female student started solidly but Vin and Mark aren't her competitors.
This new week's challenge will be how to project oneself as an artista. Miss World Philippines Gwendolyn Ruais will appear in Artista Academy by mid-year (either Wednesday or Thursday) to help the students in the Palengke Challenge on how to use their charm and convincing powers. Who is male and female students to top the test?
No doubt Vin will try to keep his edge as the other 15 (the lowest performing student was expelled on Monday night) remaining students give their best try. He has a big supporter, big brother Aljur Abrenica.
Although buzzed by the tabs has having more intense acting than Aljur, Vin knows they are not up to compete. Vin opted to pursue an entertainment career via TV5's Artista Academy instead of joining Aljur's home network. He knows distance will separate them from competition and intrigues, but not the bond that ties them.
