Five times the heat in Magic Mike!
Want some exciting discoveries about America’s male strippers? Let Magic Mike take you to this one-of-a-kind world of ecstasy starting July 11 as it opens in theaters.
Highly anticipated, Magic Mike stars Channing Tatum, who was a real stripper in Tampa, Florida, in his late teens. He struts his stuff with Hollywood hotties Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey. It is directed by Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh and released by Viva International Pictures and Multivision Pictures.
Tatum co-produced Magic Mike, inspired by his own experiences as a stripper. The steamy choreography not only exposes the men’s chiseled physique, but their dancing skills as well. These five hotties rip off their army fatigues and get down and dirty in their thongs. This is just one of the many jaw-dropping scenes the film promises.
Tatum as Magic Mike is a veteran stripper who brings a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) to Xquisite, a club where he works at. He introduces him to the owner, Dallas (McConaughey) and the other guys, Big Dick Richie (Manganiello) and Ken (Bomer). Seeing that The Kid has potential and interest to earn easy money, Magic Mike mentors him in the arts of stripping and hustling on and off stage. Magic Mike meets his protege’s sister (Cody Horn) and falls for her, but his lifestyle gets in the way.

IN/SIGHT: Rufa Mae caused her own exit
As Wil Time Bigtime (WTBT) episode last Monday was taped, Rufa Mae Quinto’s exit in TV5’s primetime show happened last Tuesday making the entertainment world buzz with half-truths, easy generalizations and malice. As cleared up by WTBT head Jay Montelibano, Rufa Mae’s controversial departure from the Monday-to-Saturday game show hosted by Willie Revillame was due to her hectic schedule. She had been unable to commit regular and timely attendance to live shows and advance tapings due to this. WTBT had nothing to do about Rufa Mae’s talent fee as the agreement is between her and Vic del Rosario.
