The 2012 Kymco Like 200i in cream color was retro designed for that classic look but with modern features. When seated on the brown none-slip synthetic leather seat hugs your bottom like a glove, although for taller riders that would require seating more on the back section of the seat, a somewhat hard object hits the left side of the behind though. Under the seat you have a utility box that could fit a helmet and if that is not enough a color keyed top box is standard. Below the ignition switch is a glove box that has a 12 volt DC outlet. Up front the minimalist designed instrument panel with digital clock is clearly visible from the rider’s point of view, a 160 km/h speedometer display and the switches on both ends of the handle bar are reachable but having long thumbs would definitely be an advantage. A flat floor board can load more cargo while riders with big feet will have no problems and for the pillion, foldable foot rests are conveniently located behind the floor board. A rear hand rail is standard for pillions who prefers to hold the rail than the rider in front but for me it is safer for the pillion to hold on to the shoulder or around the waist of the rider. From the outside 2012 Kymco Like 200i rolls on front and rear 120/70-12 nylon tubeless tires mounted on 12 inch alloy wheels bolted on to the frame with a length of 1915mm, width of 690mm, height of 1120mm, a wheel base of 1315mm and a ground clearance of 150mm not only enough to tackle humps on the road with a pillion but for that smooth and comfortable ride. 2012 Kymco Like 200i accelerates smoothly and effort less, thanks to a power plant of 163cc single cylinder four stroke air-cooled auto-controlled fuel injection petrol engine that has a maximum power of 8.5kw/7250rpm and a maximum torque of 11.97nm/5500rpm. A 7 liter fuel tank is standard ideal for long rides. Stopping power is made possible with front 220mm and rear 180mm double piston ventilated disc brakes. Even the sound decibel from the OEM muffler is so pleasant, it helps the rider obtain a stress-free ride. Starting the 2012 Kymco Like 200i is easy with an electric push start button while the kick starter was omitted, when you twist the throttle down the engine responds with no delay. 2012 Kymco Like 200i is ideal for filtering through traffic congested roads with the handle-bar length vehicle side-view mirrors are definitely avoided. Running at night I realized the importance of good headlight density more so when you are caught in a downpour the 2012 Kymco Like 200i with the headlight at high beam can assist the rider not to get ditched in a pothole. For me the 2012 Kymco Like 200i is fun, stable and so nimble to ride around town with extra power.
