Clash of the tartans

This season, the Joseph Woman reveals her artistic temperament through a defiant clash of pattern and palette. Picnic ginghams, polka dots and parasol stripes unabashedly invigorate classic silhouettes, taking a woman’s personal style to a new form and function. The painterly palette — lawn green, cobalt, dandelion yellow — causes a bigger splash.
Also, following the release of the footwear collection last year, Joseph announces the launch of a dedicated handbag and leather goods collection. The series is an extension of the brand’s philosophies toward the uniform and modern habits of dressing.
“It started with the ease and honesty of your old- school bag, to take the highly functional and make it beautiful. With the new collection, each of the bags is like a modular system almost. Wallets, pouches and hardware can be attached for personalization, tailored to life. There’s even a keychain in each to easily locate house keys,” Louise Trotter, creative director.
Including a satchel, bowling and wrist-held style, the collection is all expertly made in Italy using fine leathers. Some designs are also available in the specially developed fabrics shown in the pre-spring summer 2018 Collection.
With a lot of artistic pattern clash and play in the Pre-Spring Summer 2018 Collection, Joseph will surely keep you looking way ahead of the fashion pack this season. Selected styles are available at Joseph stores located at Level 1 of SM Aura Premier, and Level 1, S Maison at the Conrad Hotel.
