Kris Bernal bares it all

GMA Artist Center star Kris Bernal has stripped off all her inhibitions to celebrate three achieved goals in the first half of the year.

As the latest FHM cover girl, Bernal is proud to celebrate her sexuality and womanhood and claims that apart from this being a career move, this is also a gift to herself as she turns 28 this May.
The Kapuso star admits that it took some time before she said yes to the generous offers of the popular men’s magazine. She felt that it was not the right time to be their cover girl. “I considered a lot of things back then. There was my family and there was my work, so I really thought about it. But now that I’m turning 28, hindi ka na pag-iisipang masyado ka pang bata. Kaya ngayon feeling ko, right age and perfect time na talaga.”
Kris is aware that she is under a lot of scrutiny, and it caused her to worry about her body. But now that she has matured over the naysayers, she learned to love her own body and decided to dedicate her life in promoting body positivity.
“Life is meant to be amazing. It’s not meant to be tolerated or controlled by the standards of this world. My life is an expression of who I truly am. I am unfolding myself - plan my own path, listen to the depths of my heart, create my own rules, and do most things on my terms!” said Bernal.
Her upcoming afternoon prime series on GMA, Impostora, is also set to begin soon and she is excited to play two characters. She will breathe life to Nimfa, a kind-hearted woman who is being judged for her appearance; and Rosette, a brand new Nimfa who will surface after getting a facial reconstruction surgery. Kris will be playing alongside fellow Kapuso star Rafael Rosell, and she is ready to see the fun and chaos in playing dual roles.
