Maine Mendoza fronts magazine’s 20th anniversary issue

Cosmopolitan Philippines celebrates two decades of fun, fearless female empowerment with a special anniversary issue with none other than the phenomenal star Maine Mendoza on the cover.
“As we celebrate Cosmopolitan Philippines’ 20th birthday this month, we also celebrate your twenties as your defining decade,” says Cosmo’s editor-in-chief, Marla Miniano. “That’s what this issue all about — a reminder that Cosmo Girls never stop trying and learning and growing.”
The 20th anniversary issue features 20 big stories, diving into everything from fashion resolutions and crazy, colorful beauty looks, to taking on a 20-day workout challenge and exploring the most Instagrammable hotels and resorts in the country, to being the best bae ever and unlocking the secrets all girl bosses know by heart. Cosmo also goes back to 1997 — the birth year of Cosmopolitan Philippines — through its grunge-style fashion editorial modeled by a real-life barkada, then returns to the present by zooming in on the Pinay in Love in 2017.
Also in this issue is this year’s batch of Fun Fearless Awardees, selected Passionate Young Twenty Somethings who are making their mark in their respective fields. There is no shortage of inspiration as these 20 women defines what success means to them, talk about the lessons they’ve learned so far, and reassure Cosmo Girls that believing in yourself is already half the battle.

Cosmopolitan’s May issue is available in newsstands, bookstores, and supermarkets nationwide for P125. Visit www.cosmo.ph, follow on Facebook via /cosmopolitan.ph, and follow Cosmo on Twitter via @cosmo.ph and on Instagram via cosmopolitan_philippines.
