Teachers’ bet
02/24/2009 Teachers and faculty members of a public school in the Province of Samar applaud United Opposition (UNO) president and Makati mayor Jejomar Binay after he apprised them of the Makati City government’s benefits and incentives for its public school teachers. Under Binay’s leadership, Makati has been extending exceptional benefits and privileges for its public school teachers that include 13th month and incentive pay almost equivalent to their one month salary, P5,000 cash gift, P1,500 additional compensation, P300 chalk allowance, P500 Personnel Economic Relief Allowance, rice and clothing allowance, and subsidized medical treatment at the city-run Ospital ng Makati.
