VIP shop at Greenhills
02/24/2009 Prominent personalities and even VIP are expected among bargain hunters and shoppers to crowd Greenhills during the 16th National Furniture, Furnishing & Fashion Festival to be held back to back with the 5th Philippine Crafts Fair from March 13 to April 6. Among frequent shoppers are Boy Abunda, Marvin Agustin, Caridad Sanchez, Claudine Barreto, Ronald Magsanoc, Julius Babao and Tintin Bersola, Michael de Mesa, Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Dolphy and Zsa Zsa Padilla, Maki Pulido, Crispina and Nards Belen, Rickey Lo, Robert Lim of the YKL, Dr. Amado Castro, Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, and Jojo Manuel and Manuel Lim, Max’s Restaurant. They prefer to shop at Greenhills because other shoppers and sales personnel consider them as ordinary people unlike in other places where they disturb them for signature signing, picture taking or chatting. In other places, “nagkakagulo ang mga tao pag may artista o kilalang baskeball player.” This is the observation of Albert Castero, coordinator of Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (Patepco), for more than 20 years organizer of trade fairs and consumer exhibits.
