Really amazing Veracruz
11/18/2008 It is amazing indeed: Another super diesel from Hyundai. The Hyundai Veracruz 3.0 V6 GLS CRDI 6 A/T 4WD is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 high pressure Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) system with Variable Geometric Turbo. This crossover utility vehicle or CUV has a maximum output of 240ps/3800 rpm and maximum torque of 46.0 kg-m/1750-3500 rpm linked to a 6 speed gate type automatic transmission. The torque on demand electronic 4 wheel drive system with differential lock mode works when needed. For example, when the front wheels spin, the rear wheels automatically engage to gain more traction. On uneven off road surfaces, it is advisable to press the differential lock mode button. Depressing the accelerator to the floor makes you feel the G force with the leather seats catching you like a baseball glove. At high speeds the electronic stability program with integrated antilock brake system and traction control system keeps the vehicle on trac and eliminates the fear of not stopping during emergency braking situations.
