Quick to Go

Hyundai vehicles are seen on our local roadways and by the bulk. The 2018 Hyundai Accent Hatchback 1.6 CRDi DCT, was no exception. From the exterior, even at a standstill position, the front end gave an impression that the vehicle was running fast, with the headlamps fitted snugly, dividing the hood from the fender, for less wind drag and an aerodynamic look, while the 175/70 R14 tires mounted on 5.5Jx14 steel with full wheel caps, that filled the wheel arks, to provide a lower stance. From the rear, the large tail lights when activated, are visible not only from the vehicle directly behind, but also from vehicles far behind. Inside the 2018 Hyundai Accent Hatchback 1.6 CRDi DCT, the fabric upholstery used for the seat, was tuned to cool down easily, even at high noon. The 3-spoke steering wheel with airbag, connected to a MDPS (motor driven power steering) has a diameter size, that was ideal for quick maneuvers and parking in tight places. The instrumentation cluster, was highly readable from the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, water temperature gauge, the range meter, fuel consumption and to the smallest warning light. All the buttons and switches, were within reach from the driver seat, even the map light was positioned well, when activated by the front passenger and night visibility outside, was not hampered. The interior lighting located on the center part of the ceiling, illuminates the cabin equally. To maintain coolness within the cabin, the 4-speed manually operated air-conditioning with rotary type knobs, adjusts to the preferred set temperature. While the single din integrated tuner/CD/MP3 with USB port and AUX-in, wired to 4-speakers strategically located inside the cabin, provided listening pleasure and keeps the passengers entertained, during a road trip. The 2018 Hyundai Accent Hatchback 1.6 CRDi DCT has substantial leg, head and elbow room and the doors compliment on that by providing on both sides wider opening for relax entry and exit.
Inside the bonnet, the 1582cc in-line four U-II 16-valve HLA VGT CRDi diesel engine matched to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission with manual mode, that shifts typical of a DCT and could produce a lusty maximum power of 134.14HP/4000rpm and a maximum torque of 300Nm/1750-2500rpm. For a sure stop, front ventilated disc brakes and rear solid disc brakes with ABS and EBD when working together, puts the vehicle into a halt in a short period of time. On twisty roads, the ESP, keeps the vehicle on the road, just in case, the driver loads to much adrenalin. The front suspension Macpherson strut type, with coil spring and rear coupled torsion beam axle type suspension, keeps the vehicle stable.
The 2018 Hyundai Accent Hatchback 1.6 CRDi DCT, has a very economical diesel engine that can deliver a very high torque response, with more to give at the top end.
