La Salle wary of Adamson

Defending champion De La Salle University seeks to solidify its hold of second spot against Adamson University in the UAAP Season 80 women's volleyball tournament today at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
Lady Spikers’ head coach Ramil de Jesus stresses the need of his Lady Spikers to play with a lot of aggressiveness and intensity in their 4 pm clash with the Lady Falcons.
Far Eastern University, currently tied with University of Santo Tomas in fourth place at 2-2, takes on winless UE in the curtain raiser at 2 pm.
"Actually yung Adamson kasi, may mga times na kapag dumating na nakuha nila ang kumpiyansa sa loob ng court, hindi mo puwedeng basta-bastahin," said De Jesus.
"So mahirap biruin kasi alam natin na kumpleto ng tao," he added.
After a narrow five-set loss to National University, De La Salle was able to vent its ire on University of the East, 25-18, 25-17, 25-20, but De Jesus was still not satisfied the way his troops performed.
Although Fen Emnas is not among the best in the league, De Jesus remains wary of the Lady Falcons’ playmaker.
"Beterano rin kasi ang setter," said De Jesus, who keeps on pushing on Michelle Cobb to handle the pressure and improve her decision making in orchestrating plays.
The Lady Spikers are sporting a 4-1 card in second place, just half-a-game behind the unbeaten Lady Bulldogs (4-0).
After Adamson University, De La Salle will wrap up its first round assignments against Ateneo, which it met in the Finals for the past six seasons, next Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Lady Falcons are coming off a five-set loss to the Lady Eagles last Wednesday to drop at 2-3, as coach Air Padda hopes that his team won't bring back the culture of losing which seemed to have been erased at the early stage of the season.
